A man ruptures his throat holding back a sneeze!

A 34 year old man learned that you should never hold back a sneeze and had to spend two weeks in the hospital because he didn't listen to the warning. The man pinched his nose and kept his mouth closed during a sneeze and felt a pop in his neck. There were no problems right away, but later he felt pain in his throat and neck, then his neck became swollen and his voice changed. Upon further examination, doctors found that the man had actually blew a small hole in his throat from trying to hold back sneezes. The man was given antibiotics and had to be fed through a tube which was removed after 7 days. He fully recovered but learned the lesson that doctors stress, "If you gotta sneeze don't hold back let it out in a tissue or the crook of your elbow and not in your hand."
