Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo was honored by his hometown on Wednesday by having the local airport renamed for him. Nice, right? (Just ask Bush Sr. I'm sure he'll tell you it's a huge honor.)
That's kind of awesome. His name and gorgeous face are right there on the airport. Looks good, eh?
Now let's talk about the statue that was also unveiled at the naming ceremony. That's where things took a bad turn.
