Not sure if you noticed but it’s getting hot outside which means, we’re getting closer and closer to river season.

But before the water warms up enough for to start thinking about packing the cooler there are a few new rules that have popped up that you need to know.

Quick Hits for the Comal:

According to the New Braunfels city website, one person is limited to bringing two tubes with them on the Comal River.

Inflatables on the Comal River must be less than 5-feet in diameter.

Containers under 5 fluid ounces are not permitted on the Comal River.

Flotation devices cannot be more than 18-feet in length.

Alcohol is not permitted in River Acres, Last Tubers Exit, Cypress Bend Park, Hinman Island and Prince Solms Park in New Braunfels.

Music devices can not be audible beyond 50 feet.

Beer bongs, funnels, tubes, and hoses are not permitted on the Comal River.

Check out the Chron.com for more information about picnic table, grill, and parking changes.
