#5SOSFAM Celebrate Triumphant 'Youngblood' Win At NYC Show | Front Row Fans

Front Row Fans is a reoccurring feature, which turns the attention back to the fans, particularly the ones that make their way to the front of the stage. From small intimate theater shows to stadiums, iHeartRadio is all about highlighting the connection between fans and their favorite artists, so why not showcase that relationship right in front of the stage?

5 Seconds of Summer have good reason to celebrate. Just last week, the Aussie sensation released their new album, Youngblood, and the project has bested the competition, topping the Billboard 200 chart and beating out the likes of Beyoncé, JAY-Z, and Nas. In honor of their new LP, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford took to New York City for iHeartRadio LIVE with 5SOS Presented by Macy's and performed some of their biggest tracks, as well as material from the just-released project.

Prior to the electrifying hour-long concert set, iHeartRadio took to the crowd to speak to some of the band's biggest followers in our latest installment of Front Row Fans and, boy, are they rejoicing in the triumphant week. Scroll on below to meet some of the 5SOSFAM!

FAVORITE 5SOS CAREER HIGHLIGHT: "I think just going from YouTube to watching them open for One Direction and now they have people who line up for every single show. We're out here for 24 hours and always ready to be out there for them no matter how many times we've seen them."

FAVORITE 5SOS SONGS: "Amnesia" and "Want You Back"

ON HER FANDOM: "I don't think anyone is more diehard than anyone else. I think we're all literally out here willing to support them and buying however many copies of the album that we have to. I bought it on iTunes. I bought a physical copy. I got a copy from Ticketmaster when I bought my tickets. I bought the vinyl yesterday. We're all like that. We're just a supportive group and we literally just want them to succeed. We beat out Beyoncé. It's so much dedication and I'm proud to be part of it."

FAVORITE 5SOS CAREER HIGHLIGHT: "Most recently, I think just having Youngblood come out because you can tell the difference in musical growth between their first two albums and Youngblood. We've been waiting such a long time for this and they definitely didn't disappoint. . . .They're finally making music that they feel like portrays themselves accurately."

FAVORITE 5SOS SONGS: "Outer Space/Carry On," "Move Along" and "Safety Pin"

ON HER FANDOM: "I just feel like they care about their fans and that's not something you see in a lot of musicians these days. Everyone's very obsessed with getting followers and things and they make music that they're proud of. I love that about them. I've been following them for four, five years now and I'm going to continue until I die."

FAVORITE 5SOS CAREER HIGHLIGHT: "This was a behind-the-scenes moment. It was the moment that a few fans told them that Youngblood hit No. 1 and they could not have been happier. Their faces were just so happy about it. I was there. It was a few minutes where everybody just celebrated and enjoying the success of something that's so deserving. It's not just because they have a dedicated fanbase. It's because it's really good music if you consider their technical abilities on top of the passion and the talent that they have on top of the fanbase. That's what made them win over Beyoncé."

FAVORITE 5SOS SONG: "Ghost of You"

ON HER FANDOM"I've been following them for a zillion years — probably within a year of them officially being 5SOS. Honestly, they've kind of jumpstarted my entire career by doing what they do. When I was 13 or 14, I saw them perform for the first time and they were in Seattle. Before the show, I was hanging around outside the venue and they were kicking around a soccer ball around near all the cars. They were just these normal guys, 17 or 18 years old, minding their own business and having a good time. Then they go on stage and they're living their dream. Everything they've done has stemmed from them going, 'I want to get out. I want to not live in a small town. I wanna go do my thing. I wanna run with it.' That's exactly what happened to me. I lived in a small town near Nashville, Tennessee in the suburbs and I loved everybody there. I loved my family there and I just knew I wanted to be in the industry like these guys."
