New Electric Car From Daymak Will Mine Cryptocurrency While Parked

Remember when Tesla said they'd accept Bitcoin as payment? Childsplay. Canadian carmaker Daymak just one-upped them, announcing that their new model will will mine Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies with solar energy while charging, AND they're accepting Bitcoin as payment.

Daymak, a pioneer in personal Light Electric Vehicles, released the following statement from company president Aldo Baiocchi on the upcoming Spiritus:

“The Spiritus car is for those who want more in life, and we are committed to putting our customers ahead of the curve. We envision a future where your highway tolls, your parking, and your drive thru order will be paid directly on the fly with crypto. Your online bills and your banking can be handled through the same software platform paid in crypto. And whereas most vehicles are depreciating while they sit in your garage, the Nebula Miner will make you money while your Spiritus is parked. The potential applications are limitless."

The company says their Nebula Miner system will come standard and will be working to make the owner money whenever the Spiritus is is parked on top of the Daymak Ondata wireless charging pad, or parked and trickle-solar-charging, or plugged-in. The Nebula Wallet is securely integrated into the vehicle's interface and will allow owners to collect, store, and make transactions with their crypto profits. Daymak also encourages payment in cryptocurrency. They're taking pre-orders now.
