According to a new Google Trends map, Americans need a leg up when it comes to spelling some rather common words.
The internet giant released a map this week looking at the words that users search for the most by state. In Texas we need help spelling the word "maintenance," which can be cumbersome to some. Missouri has maintenance problems too.
Next door in New Mexico the word "banana" stymies some, and in Louisiana the word "giraffe" can be perplexing. Neighbors to the north, Oklahoma, scratch their heads at the word "patient."
