SunnyD Hard Selzer Arrives This Saturday

 

 

Anyone who was a teenager in the '90s remembers the famous "purple stuff" ads for Sunny Delight. But all those kids are in their 40s now, so . . . bring on the HARD stuff.

 

 

Sunny Delight with ALCOHOL now exists. It's called SunnyD Vodka Seltzer. It hits select Walmarts nationwide this Saturday. 

 

 

SunnyD is essentially fake orange juice. So it basically sounds like a screwdriver . . . vodka and O.J. . . . but with bubbles.

 

 

Obviously this is all a nostalgia grab. They know those '90s kids are grown-ups now, and they're hoping they'll be into it. Their press release claims fans ASKED for it though, and that SunnyD is already a popular mixer.

 

 

Four-packs cost $10. So it's a little pricier than other seltzers, and most beers. Each can is 95 calories and 4.5% alcohol.

Cracker Barrel Has New Cheesy Bacon Homestyle Fried Chicken, Loaded Steak Fries, And More

There’s a new spring menu coming to Cracker Barrel locations nationwide with new items that may be of interest to you. Here’s what to expect: 

• Cheesy Bacon Homestyle Fried Chicken – one piece of Cracker Barrel’s Sunday Homestyle Chicken topped with cheese, bacon, crispy onion strings, and drizzled with buttermilk ranch and served with two Country Sides and Biscuits or Corn Muffins. Pricing starts at $11.99, and it’s part of the chain’s 20 meals under the $12 everyday value menu.
• Loaded Steak Fries are available as a shareable Barrel Bite or a premium side. They are signature steak fries topped off with creamy cheese sauce, shredded Colby cheese, bacon bits and green onions served with buttermilk ranch for dipping. Two Barrel Bites are priced at $8.99, perfect for sharing at the table.
• Tips, Tenders n’ Shrimp Platter – Sirloin Steak Tips topped with garlic butter sauce, and your choice of fried or marinated grilled Chicken Tenders and Country Fried Shrimp served with two Country Sides and Buttermilk Biscuits or Corn Muffins.
• Mini Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake – cheesecake filling topped with strawberry sauce, whipped cream, and a fresh slice of strawberry in a graham cracker crust. 

All four of the new spring menu items are available at participating Cracker Barrel locations nationwide for a limited time.
