Music: Rivers Cuomo Announces Wordle For Weezer Fans

Rivers Cuomo Announces Wordle For Weezer Fans

Love Worlde? Love Weezer? Rivers Cuomo has the game for you. “If you like Wordle and Weezer, you’ll probably like Weezle,” he shared on Twitter on Thursday.

Similar to Wordle, players need to guess a five-letter word and only have six tries to do so. There are no details yet on the word list, but the answer to today's Weezle was definitely Weezer-themed. Not only do you get the glory of winning if you guess the word right in six tries or under, but you also will get to hear a Weezer song.

The Cure's Robert Smith Reveals New Album Details

Frontman Robert Smith is finally revealing what The Cure's new album will be called and it's "Songs of a Lost World." There will be 10 tracks on the album and it's nearly done. Their goal is for it to be released as soon as September and it'll be the very long-awaited follow-up to "4:13 Dream" from 2008.

Smith goes on to describe the music on this new album as "relentlessly doom and gloom." There have been some delays in vinyl production, which is why September is the soonest it can be released. “I’d rather it just come out. I can’t stand the anticipation,” he shared, “It’ll be real very soon.”
