Noshing before you hit the hay can promote weight loss, maintain satisfactory blood sugar levels, and help you sleep better. But, it’s all in what you consume.

Focus on foods rich in melatonin and tryptophan. Some include beans, cheese, eggs, fish, some fruits, milk and nuts.

Here are the foods you need to completely stay clear of before bed: fried, fatty, high-carb, spicy, and sugary foods. These foods can slow your metabolism and give you heartburn or reflux. And who can sleep through that?

Also skip foods or drinks with caffeine… for obvious reasons.
