Bored Ape NFT Worth $200 Thousand Sells for $1.29 Million

Looks like spending crazy amounts of cash on NFTs is still very much a thing.

JUSTIN BIEBER just spent $1.29 million on a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT . . . which is 300% above its value.

Justin posted a photo of the ape wearing a black shirt with tears in its eyes. In the caption, he put a lyric from his song "Lonely".

Quote, "What if you had it all, but nobody to call, maybe then you'd know me. Cuz I've had everything but no one's listening and that's just [effing] lonely."

The NFT's value was $208,237 as of Saturday.

People on Twitter were quick to make fun of Justin. One person said, quote, "Justin Bieber really paid five times the Bored Ape floor price for an ape with no rare traits . . . He just got finessed."

And another user tweeted, quote, "Next time you think you're down bad, just remember that [Justin] just bought a floor ape for 500 Ethereum." (500 Ethereum is worth $1.29 million. Or at least it was at the time of purchase.)

(Speaking of NFTs, Kanye West would like people to stop asking him to make them. He's too busy, quote, "building real products in the real world.)
