Best Tips & Tricks To Help You With Thanksgiving Dinner

Preparing Thanksgiving dinner is NO JOKE!!! It really doesn't matter how early you prepare, it's likely (and definite in my case) that you'll end up forgetting some main ingredients or materials to make the perfect dinner. So I found a list of tips, tricks and hacks using mainly household items that can actually be useful for when you forget a few items!

Enjoy :)

1. PENNIES AS PIE WEIGHTS!!

To prevent your pie shell from puffing up during par baking, experts recommend filling the bottom with pie weights, but you can also use dried beans, uncooked rice, gravel — even screws or pennies (just line the dough with foil first).

2. Cabinets For Recipes

Ok, so this one is supppper easy and convenient, but so overlooked! How many times have you been looking at a recipe you printed out or even a hand written recipe passed down by grandma, and you're struggling between cooking and reading your paper. Well, consider taping your recipe to the cabinet! That way it becomes hand free and you can actually save a lot of time when your following a recipe step by step.

3. Foil As The Roasting Rack!

The point of a rack is to hold your bird above the pan so heat can circulate evenly. Simply crumple some sheets of foil into thick ropes and wrap them in coils on the bottom of your pan. Or go biodegradable and place the turkey on a bed of halved onions, carrots and celery!
