1. Lucky Charms Has Announced Its New Marshmallow: The Magical Unicorn
Last week, Lucky Charms announced they were killing off one of their marshmallows, the yellow and orange hourglass. It had only been part of the cereal since 2008, so no one got all Internet angry over its death.
But people are certainly getting Internet happy over its replacement.
General Mills just announced the new, permanent marshmallow they're adding in its place the MAGICAL UNICORN.
The marshmallow is a white unicorn head, with blue and purple swirls on the mane and the horn.
Boxes of Lucky Charms with the new unicorn marshmallows are already starting to ship out, and they should be everywhere by next month.
2. Chipotle Is Now Testing Quinoa
Chipotle finally added a major new item to their menu last year, with QUESO. And pretty much everyone agreed it was gross.
Yesterday, they started offering QUINOA at their test kitchen in New York City. And they're thinking people will add it to salads or order it instead of rice.
There's no word on if or when they could roll it out to all of their stores but is anyone out there REALLY going, "Oh please Chipotle, do it soon"?
