MUSIC: Breaking Benjamin Reveal Unlikely Collaboration + More

1. Breaking Benjamin are gearing up for their new album Ember,

but give a little taste of what’s in store. Frontman Benjamin Burnley reveals he’s not one for secrets and then spills on the album’s special collaborator.

“I don’t like to be secretive because I don’t think it’s a big deal,” the singer reveals. “I sung a song with a really, really talented artist. He’s a dancer, but also a singer.” Say what now? Turns out the special guest is “Dancing With The Stars” Derek Hough

The guys collaborated for the song “The Dark of You.” The two met after Burnley found a video of Hough covering their song “Ashes of Eden.” He asked Hough to come over and record the track in his living room. Burnley says Hough is an “amazing singer and did an incredible job” on the track. They’ve even remained friends since.
