COVID delays have kept Marvel movies on hold for more than a year, but the floodgates are about to open. After Black Widow hits theaters (and Disney+) in July, Marvel has Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings slated for September 3 and Eternals for November 5.
The studio had indicated that a trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was a few weeks away, but released it this morning as a surprise for star Simu Liu's birthday. Check out the trailer, the first poster, and Marvel's official synopsis for the movie below:
Marvel Studios' "Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings" stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi's friend Katy and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng'er Zhang, Florian Munteanu and Ronny Chieng.
