Jimmy Kimmel has been doing his show from home and has introduced a new segment spotlighting a "healthcare hero of the week." This week's hero was emergency and trauma nurse TJ Riley, who contracted COVID-19 himself while working the ER at Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx, New York. He has recovered after dealing with symptoms for 12 days and says that around 60% is co-workers have also been infected.
The Jimmy Kimmel Live! team found out that TJ is a big Foo Fighters fan, so they got Dave Grohl to join Jimmy and TJ in a video chat. He even dedicated an acoustic performance of "Everlong" to TJ and thanked him for all he's done for people.
