Group Petitions Netflix To Cancel Amazon Prime's "Good Omens"

The streaming adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's book "Good Omens" has got Christian groups upset, claiming the show normalizes satanism.

Backers of Return to Order's campaign say it's just "another step to make satanism appear normal, light and acceptable", adding, "this type of video makes light of Truth, Error, Good and Evil, and destroys the barriers of horror that society still has for the devil."

So far 20,000 have signed on to the petition to have Netflix cancel the six-part series. Only problem? It's actually on Amazon Prime.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Gaiman joked, "I love that they are going to write to Netflix to try and get #GoodOmens cancelled. Says it all really. This is so beautiful ... Promise me you won't tell them?"
