It seems Jack White's direct-to-vinyl idea is catching on. Weezer stopped by White's Third Man Records in Nashville and laid down a version of their 1994 song "Susanne" in the direct-to-vinyl booth.

The refurbished 1947 Voice-o-Graph machine records up to two minutes of audio and has also been used by Neil Young. In fact, it's believed that Young recorded his forthcoming new album "A Letter Home" in the booth.

No word on whether this particular recording of "Susanne" will be available for fans, but the band did post a snippit of their cramped performance on Instagram.
