Be warned... you're about to feel like a lazy slob.
Six-year-old Keelan Glass started running 5ks when she was just four. "At five, the youngster competed in her first 10K. Now six years old, the Abilene, Texas youth just completed her first half marathon, finishing the 13.1-mile Showdown Half Marathon in an astonishing time of 2:46.31. That time, a 12:47-mile pace, set a national age-group record."
That's faster than I've ever run a mile. (Guess I can't blame my short legs anymore.)
Keelan has a goal of doing a full marathon by the time she's 10, but her parents aren't sure if they'll let her. But, being an athlete is in her genes. Both of her parents are triathletes.
What I Do, Job-wise: So. Much. Other than playing on-air every day (and on DO YOU HATE IT? Sunday nights), you might get an e-mail response from me if you write in asking to know the name of a song or whether we're looking for interns. I'm all over the place, like a ninja, but less stealthy.
