Marte Dalelv after being pardoned today. (Getty Images)
The short version of the story is this... Marte Dalelv is a Norwegian who was on a business trip to Dubai for her company, Al Mana Interiors, owned by Janet Jackson's husband, Wissam Al Mana. While there, she was allegedly raped by her boss. She was sentenced to 16-months in prison for "having extramarital sex, drinking alcohol without permission and giving false statement to the police." (Don't worry, she was pardoned today, hence the big smile in the above photo. And so was her rapist!)

And then... she got a letter from Mr. Jackson Al Mana that "her contract was terminated due to 'unacceptable and improper behavior'." Mkay. I am giving that dude major side-eye right now.
You can read the entire letter (in English!) on this fancy Norwegian website.
What I Do, Job-wise: So. Much. Other than playing on-air every day (and on DO YOU HATE IT? Sunday nights), you might get an e-mail response from me if you write in asking to know the name of a song or whether we're looking for interns. I'm all over the place, like a ninja, but less stealthy.
