I almost spit out my latte when I heard the number this morning.
ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS.
That's how much J.J. Watt is getting from The Texans.
Much zeros. Very commas. Wow.
JJ Watt and Houston reportedly agree on 6-year, $100M deal that will make him the NFL's highest paid defensive player http://t.co/tK0kjZorvh— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) September 2, 2014
Yes, it's for a full 6-year contract. Yes, he's a good human being. But still, $100 million?
The average person will make $240k in 6 years. J.J. Watt is making roughly 417x that. (This is super rough math, ok? It's been a while since I've had to count above triple digits.)
So my question is this... does J.J. Watt deserve to make that much? Does anyone? (If you've got names, I'm super curious.)
What I Do, Job-wise: So. Much. Other than playing on-air every day (and on DO YOU HATE IT? Sunday nights), you might get an e-mail response from me if you write in asking to know the name of a song or whether we're looking for interns. I'm all over the place, like a ninja, but less stealthy.
