Dr. Mark Gilbert is the Deputy Chair for the Department of Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson and one of the founders The Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative. He is also their Principal Investigator. With him is Dr. Terri Armstrong, Co-Principal Investigator and Director of Patient Outcomes Research.

The Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative (BTTC) was created in 2003 as a network of medical centers with the expertise and the desire to participate in state-of-the-art clinical trials investigating new treatments for malignant brain tumors. My guests speak of their vocation to dedicate their professional lives to helping people and the incredible advances in technology and methodology which are changing their field on a daily basis – and that is not an exaggeration.
