When the song came out way back in 1992, nothing about House of Pain's "Jump Around" suggested that people would still be talking about it 25 years later.  

Here we are celebrating House of Pain's "Jump Around" a quarter of century after the group took over the 1992 St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City to film the classic video.

Many of us may remember, when the song came out back in ’92, nothing about it made any of us think we’d still be singing along to the words of Everlast, DJ Lethal and Danny Boy 25 years later.

But as Danny Boy told Spin in 2012, the song is "the kind of sh*t you can put a lampshade on your head and act an idiot to."
