Pearl Jam Releases New Single "Wreckage"

Pearl Jam has introduced their latest single, "Wreckage," ahead of their highly anticipated 12th studio album, "Dark Matter.” Set to release tomorrow via Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records, PJ guitarist Stone Gossard reflected on the song's evolution, noting its lyricism, saying,” It’s a really powerful lyric and I think we did a really great job of taking something and really pushing it to its limit.”

"Dark Matter" marks the band's first album since 2020's acclaimed "Gigaton," recorded at Shangri-La Studios with producer Andrew Watt at the helm. To celebrate, Pearl Jam is releasing a special edition of the album for Record Store Day and premiered it globally through a cinematic engagement. What’s more, the album release is a world tour spanning nine countries and 25 cities, starting in Vancouver and culminating with a long-awaited return to New Zealand and Australia in November.

Katy Perry Thinks Jelly Roll Would Be Perfect as Her Replacement on "Idol"

If you didn't know already, Katy Perry is leaving "American Idol" after this season. No idea what's next for her, but hopefully she'll spend a lot of time with Legolas.

Katy was asked who she'd like to see take her spot on the judge's panel and Jelly Roll's name immediately came to mind. She said, "Jelly Roll was crazy . . . I was convinced at anything he said. He could run for president, he could be my pastor, I might go back to church for him.

"So, I love him . . . And to have [Luke BryanLionel Richie], and Jelly on the show would be amazing."

She thinks it's his ability to give constructive criticism in a kind way that would make him an awesome "Idol" judge. She said, "I want a truth-teller, that's what I want. I want someone who's not afraid to tell the truth in a graceful way."
