The Rolling Stones gave their rights to "Bitter Sweet Symphony" back to The Verve. 

"Bitter Sweet Symphony" used part of the Stones song "The Last Time" although it was an orchestral version by the Andrew Oldham Orchestra. Andrew Oldham was the manager of the Stones, and released instrumental versions of some of their songs. Anyway, The Verve had cleared their use of the cover, but not the ORIGINAL . . . so the Stones took the songwriting credit 22 years ago

Tom DeLonge & Blink-182 Have Discussed Possible Comeback

Tom DeLonge said he plans on reuniting with Blink-182 at some point. It turns out he’s looped in Blink on his potential comeback, too.

In a new interview, the rocker reveals that he talked to Mark Hoppus about it. The former bandmates famously have some tension, but it seems like they may have started to bury the hatchet.

“I will play with Blink again. That’s the whole plan,” reiterates DeLonge. “I talk to Travis [Barker] all the time, I talked to Mark just the other day and we’re always discussing what makes sense and when.”

• The soundtrack to Disney's new live-action"Aladdin", which features a cover of"A Whole New World" by Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward. Other performers include Will Smith, who stars in the movie, and DJ Khaled.

• The soundtrack to the Elton John movie"Rocketman". It features several Elton John hits performed by the cast, plus a new track called"(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again"with Elton and star Taron Egerton.

"California Son",Morrissey. This is his 12th solo album. It has a cover of Laura Nyro's"Wedding Bell Blues", which also features Billie Joe ArmstrongofGreen Day.

Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" is Turning 35 Years Old

LEE GREENWOOD's signature song,"God Bless the USA", is celebrating a birthday. He says, quote, "It is with great pride that 35 years ago I decided to release,'God Bless the USA'. I wrote it to show my love for this country. That decision would prove to be the most important career choice of my life."

Lee will be performing it this Sunday at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He'll be part of the Military Appreciation Show that also features the 82nd Airborne Chorus.
