You have to hand it to Billy McFarland. If at first you don't succeed, and go to prison for it, try again.

He's announcing that tickets are on sale for Fyre Fest 2. There's no lineup and no venue other than "the Caribbean". Here's what he posted, wearing a robe.

Jelly Roll Is Losing More Than a Pound Per Day Somehow

Some people may think it's hard to stay in shape on the road, but Jelly Roll is NOT one of them.  Jelly just posted a video blog on Instagram, including a clip of his nutritionist saying that he's lost 23 pounds in just two weeks.

That's about 1.6 pounds per day.  There aren't any specifics on his secret. However, he's previously said he's working out daily, "praying and meditating," and eating better.  (Music Mayhem Magazine)

Slayer Is Selling a Branding Iron . . . What Could Go Wrong?

I'm gonna go on the record and say this is NOT a fantastic idea:  The legendary metal band Slayer is now selling a BRANDING IRON.

It's got the classic Slayer logo inside a pentagram, and it's supposed to be for MEAT.  But we're talking metal fans here . . . do you think we WON'T see these people branding themselves???

If you're interested in branding your meat . . . or yourself and your friends . . . the Slayer branding iron will set you back 75 bucks.

Slipknot Was Once Gifted a Cow Heart from a Fan

Corey Taylor says the weirdest gift a fan has ever given Slipknot is a REAL cow heart.

He says it was from the band's biggest fan in Holland.  He passed away about ten years ago, but his name was Crazy White Sean.

Corey says, quote, "We were in Amsterdam on Valentine's Day to play a show, and he brought us a real cow heart in Valentine's box, and it [effing] smelled awful . . .

"Somebody tried to take a bite of it and immediately threw up.  I was like, 'That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen, and I've been around!'"

Of course, they've had other strange gifts in the past you might remember, like a decayed human femur with their song "People [Equal] [Crap]" written on it.

ATREYU DROPS NEW ALBUM AND VIDEO

Yorba Linda, CA-based metal core rockers (and obvious “Never Ending Story” fans) Atreyu are a band on the rise. And when you’re a band on the rise, you release new material… which is exactly what Atreyu has done.

“The Moment You Find Your Flame” is a new album inspired by Atreus rise up the rock world and their response to gaining fame. “We’ve never had things easy,” admitted lead singer Brandon Saller. “But the only thing that matters is doing what we love for the people that love us.”

To celebrate the new LP, Atreyu has also released a video for their song “Immortal” that echoes Saller’s belief about self-worth. The band is set to hit the road with Memphis May Fire in North America and their own tour of Europe in late fall. In between those dates, they will travel in support of Godsmack and Iron Maiden.

Check out “Immortal” here.
