Music: Michael Bublé and Foo Fighters Team Up At Outside Lands Festival.

Michael Bublé and Foo Fighters Team Up At Outside Lands Festival.

“Foo Fighters” brought up a very unexpected guest at Saturday night’s Outside Land Festival in San Francisco. Frontman Dave Grohl set up the surprise by going through new drummer John Freese’s resume, which included playing with “Devo” and “Nine Inch Nails.” His resume also boasted drums on the 2009 Michael Bublé hit “Haven’t Met You Yet.”

As Grohl lamented to the audience about how multiple fans had been called up to sing the song only to flub the words, the Foo Fighters spotted a guy in the crowd holding a sign, hoping to be picked. Grohl spotted him and asked him to come up on stage. However, little did the audience know that the guy in the crowd was Michael Bublé.

As the rock band played the intro to “Haven’t Met You Yet,” Bublé grabbed the mic onstage and belted out the hit. After the song ended to thunderous applause, Grohl revealed to the audience, “So this badass mother***** – and I’m not even kidding – flew in today from Argentina to f*****g sing that song to you guys. Because there’s no such thing as taking a joke too far.” Well done, gentlemen!

Ghost Fans in St. Louis Were Told Not to Paint Their Faces?

Imagine going to a Ghost show WITHOUT painting your face.  It would be like, oh, I don't know . . . going to a KISS show and not painting your face.

But when Ghost played the Hollywood Casino in St. Louis on Friday night, some fans were turned away because they wore variations of Papa's corpse paint.

Two days earlier, the venue had posted warnings online saying, "Face paint or masks covering the face are not allowed while entering the venue or purchasing items at concessions.  Any face coverings must be removable upon request."

The night of the show, things got confusing.  Some people were either turned away at the door or told to remove their makeup.  Others made it right through security WITH makeup on.  It was pretty chaotic.

The Hollywood Casino apologized and called it a "miscommunication."

And Ghost issued a statement saying they had nothing to do with it . . . quote, "We wish to inform you that we will ALWAYS encourage creative expression, we will NEVER stifle it."

Guns ‘N Roses’ New Single Leaked… To Bars:

It seems someone just can’t wait for the official release of Guns ‘N Roses’ new single. Ahead of its (unannounced but supposedly approaching) release date, “Perhaps” has turned up in a very surprising place - bars. The track has reportedly popped up on TouchTunes, which supplies music for bars nationwide. This follows a recent link on Universal Music allowing fans to “pre-save” the song, while recordings of the band rehearsing “Perhaps” before a Tel Aviv concert appeared online. Maybe GNR should release the song already?

Corey Taylor Says SLIPKNOT Album is Coming

It’s been 15 years, and fans of Slipknot have been patiently waiting for a long-shelved “lost album.” But busy lead singer (and solo rocker) Corey Taylor has given fans an update and taken some blame.

“I just went back and listened to all that stuff, and it’s so dope,” he admitted. He stopped short of giving an exact release date but confirmed “next year- finally, man!” is the band’s goal.

Taylor blames his hectic solo career for the album’s delayed release. He said mastermind Shawn “Clown” Crahan told him to stop “putting s**t out there which keeps conflicting with when I want to release it.” Stay patient, Slipknot fans.
