Yeah Yeah Yeahs Cancels SNL Gig
Guitarist Nick Zinner’s battle with pneumonia has forced Yeah Yeah Yeahs to withdraw from a number of high-profile gigs. The band recently took to social media to announce they were pulling out of both “KROQs Acoustic Christmas” and the season finale of “Saturday Night Live.”
“As many of our fans know,” wrote the band. “Nick has pneumonia over the last month and it’s been an up and down recovery process.” The group revealed Zinner needs more time to heal and “the band’s top priority is supporting Nick.” However, the group admitted they felt “heartbroken we cannot rise to these occasions.”
