Mysterious Monolith In Utah Has Now Disappeared

According to CNN and Utah's Bureau of Land Management, that metal monolith discovered in the desert last week has been removed by an "unknown party." The object disappeared sometime Friday night. The BLM said in a statement on Facebook that they did not move the monolith.

The strange object was discovered November 18th by Utah DPS officers flying over the area by helicopter. It was shiny, silver, and estimated to stand between 10 and 12 feet high. The location was kept secret, but curious hikers found it and shared the info on social media. The strange object fascinated people and prompted many to speculate that it was placed there by alien visitors. We covered the original story in greater detail here.
