On Saturday afternoon, a guy in St. George, Utah set up an elaborate and romantic scavenger hunt for his girlfriend. If she followed the clues, she was supposed to find a box near their Mormon temple, with candy and a note asking her to a dance.
She never got to find that final box, though. Because the bomb squad found it first.
Around 5:30 P.M. on Saturday, someone saw a box with the word "Army" written on it, in a gazebo right by the St. George Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints temple. So they called the police.
Eventually, the bomb squad came in and shut down all the streets nearby, and started investigating.
But before they could send in the bomb-sniffing robot to destroy the package, the guy ran up and told them it was part of the scavenger hunt he'd set up for his girlfriend.
They eventually believed his story, opened the box, found the candy and note, and called off the investigation.
